A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A Homestuck FanGame tribute by NotQuiteApex
This game was inspired directly by Homestuck's unique walkaround panels, in which you could explore the world around you and interact with things in it. I wanted to remake this in a more modern programming language, one that could work faster than Flash's ActionScript.
The source code can be found at https://github.com/NotQuiteApex/CosVent
For Windows - Simply download the necessary zip file for your system, unzip it someplace on your system, and open the .exe
For Linux - Go to https://love2d.org/, follow the instructions for getting LÖVE on your system, and run it with `love CosVent-linux.love`
This is something I've been working on for almost 2 years, constantly restarting the entire project because I was never happy with the results. Fast-forward to now, and here it is. Part of it at least, I'm still considering adding some more RPG elements into the demo for fun, who knows.
For now, this is what came of my first introduction to Homestuck and programming, please enjoy.
